Hot on the heels of last year’s fantastic sophomore, ‘Moth Boys’, Spector are hitting the road for a whistle stop club tour before festival season kicks in. The London four-piece visit Clwb Ifor Bach on 26th May for what is sure to be a wild and wonderful show if their festival performances are anything to go on. Headed up by talismanic frontman Fred Macpherson, the indie-rockers specialise in stadium sized synths and sing-along choruses that The Killers wish they were still writing. With its towering hooks and despairing lyrics, ‘Moth Boys’ opener ‘All the Sad Young Men’ is their finest moment to date and will surely be a big hitter on the night. For those of us lucky enough to have finished exams by then (hang in there if you haven’t!), there can’t be many better ways to celebrate the end of term than going crazy to the band’s 2012 hit ‘Chevy Thunder’. Tickets are running low so don’t sleep on it!
