Deputy Station Manager: Assisting in running and managing CUTV for the year
Rugby: In charge of coverage with the Welsh Rugby Union (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0S9xnA0RYc8), as well as any related six nations coverage. During other sports times you will assist the head of sport (i.e. Varsity)
Sport: In charge of any sports coverage, including advertisement for and organisation of all camera crews and coverage at Varsity as well as other events. (example of this year’s Varsity coverage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pkEfBzB8jk)
Drama: See previous years examples on our youtube page to see the ideas related to Drama (Example: Chris Priestley’s PHD, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eC52dEuUFqM). In charge of managing your own drama recordings, organizing crew and scripting the project.
News: Managing news updates, as well as live coverage of events such as debates and AGM (https://youtu.be/WBoZsU_jH7c).
Music: Helping with music coverage and interviews, getting press access for camera crews to go to festivals or local gigs. Swn is the big event at the start of the year, and will require research for that (example of an interview from this year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXtnoEceZTY).
Entertainment: See previous years examples on our youtube page to see the ideas related to Entertainment, in charge of managing, recording, and organizing as well as scripting for a comedy / entertainment piece or series! Marketing and Advertising: Liaising with external companies, managing social media and any advertising within the students union.
Events Co-ordinator: Helping plan and organise external trips (such as varsity, Insomnia, MCM etc), internal broadcasts (such as debates or AGM), and help sort out the stalls at freshers or other recruitment
Social Secretary: Pretty self explanatory, help manage and plan socials within CUTV and with other groups!
Treasurer / Equipment Manager: In charge of the technical side, and management / maintenance of the cameras, tripods and other kit used by CUTV. This will include the financial side and helping with sorting funds in general.
