We’re recruiting! Looking for: DEPUTY NEWS CO-ORDINATOR and DRAMA CO-ORDINATOR

CUTV need you!

We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic and hard working individuals to join the Cardiff Union TV Exec Committee for the rest of the academic year.┬áFull training will be given, so donÔÇÖt be put off if you havenÔÇÖt had much experience.

Deputy News Co-ordinator
As deputy news co-ordinator, you will work along side Amel Semmache, our News Co-ordinator, to help create a weekly live news show. You will also liaise with contacts both within and outside of the university in order to find and report on stories. Responsibilities include:

  • Being a point of contact for News.
  • Overseeing a weekly live show.
  • Organising a team of contributors.
  • Aiding your team in using the equipment and software.
  • Attending a weekly meeting with the rest of the exec.
  • Creating opportunities within News such as finding stories to film, organising relevant interviews and gaining press access to certain events.

Drama Co-ordinator
As drama co-ordinator, you will oversee the production of all drama within CUTV, helping to bring student-made drama shows to a wider audience. Responsibilities include:

  • Being a point of contact for Drama.
  • Overseeing the production of drama shows.
  • Organising a team of contributors, including scriptwriters and actors.
  • Aiding your team in using the equipment and software.
  • Attending a weekly meeting with the rest of the exec.
  • Encouraging contributors to develop their ideas into shows, and assisting them in doing so.
