\u00d4\u00c7\u00ffSo\u00d4\u00c7\u00aa what would you little maniacs like to do first?’<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00d4\u00c7\u00ffRelease a blinding single from our sophomore album, which will be even bigger than our 2013 debut, Bad Blood and propel us even closer to world dominance’ replies Bastille. Or at least that’s what the opening bars would suggest.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00d4\u00c7\u00ffGood Grief’, which dropped yesterday, shows a developed but fresh sound from Bastille. A summery stomper, Smith’s soaring vocals lead to a massive chorus, which no doubt will be shouted, sung and chanted back to them at the plethora of festivals they play this summer.<\/span><\/p>\n

As the first single from their second album \u00d4\u00c7\u00ffWild World’, \u00d4\u00c7\u00ffGood Grief’ offers a peek into what’s next for the band. It shows their unmistakable confidence, taking the bleak lows of missing someone and spinning it into infectious pop. This announces that Bastille are firmly back onto the scene, and puts them on track for one of the records the year.
