Get yourself some lemon and ginger tea \u00d4\u00c7\u00f4 you can buy tea bags from most supermarkets, or loose-leaf tea from somewhere like Bird and Blend \u00d4\u00c7\u00f4 a lemon and some honey. Any honey will do, I prefer spreadable honey rather than&nbsp;runny&nbsp;honey,&nbsp;but&nbsp;whatever you have in the cupboard will work.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Boil the kettle, squeeze half a lemon (or the whole thing if\u252c\u00e1you&#8217;re\u252c\u00e1feeling particularly\u252c\u00e1grotty), add the tea, pour the hot water in, stir in a teaspoon of\u252c\u00e1honey\u252c\u00e1and then remove the tea bag or\u252c\u00e1strainer. Or just pop the extra portions in the freezer!\u252c\u00e1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ingredients:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>450g Sweet Potato\u252c\u00e1<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1 Onion (Red or white)&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1\u252c\u00e1Courgette, halved and chopped<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1 Bell Pepper, thinly sliced (whatever\u252c\u00e1colour\u252c\u00e1you like)\u252c\u00e1<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>400g tin of kidney beans or mixed beans\u252c\u00e1<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>50g\u252c\u00e1Feta\u252c\u00e1or 30g Parmesan <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Seasoning: paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Method:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Peel and cut the sweet potatoes, add to a pot of boiling, salted water for 15 minutes until a knife easily goes through them&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Whilst the potatoes are boiling, chop the onion and fry in some oil for a few minutes until softened&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Add the sliced pepper and&nbsp;courgette&nbsp;and fry for a further 5 minutes until all the veg is softened&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Add the beans\u252c\u00e1and seasoning\u252c\u00e1to the\u252c\u00e1vegetables\u252c\u00e1(don&#8217;t\u252c\u00e1worry if you\u252c\u00e1don&#8217;t\u252c\u00e1have\u252c\u00e1all\u252c\u00e1the spices\u252c\u00e1\u00d4\u00c7\u00f4 just add what you like,\u252c\u00e1it&#8217;s\u252c\u00e1great with a bit of heat). Add\u252c\u00e1a splash of water to the pan and cook for a few more minutes. I&nbsp;couldn&#8217;t&nbsp;really get away with&nbsp;writing&nbsp;a whole article&nbsp;on a&nbsp;can of soup so here is how you can jazz it up a bit to make your lunch a&nbsp;tad&nbsp;more exciting and something to look forward to when you feel like death.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, heat up your soup, either in the microwave or on the&nbsp;hob. Grab a block of cheddar from the fridge (it&#8217;s&nbsp;got to be at least&nbsp;<em>mature<\/em>&nbsp;for me but whatever floats your boat). Grate the cheddar directly into&nbsp;the steaming bowl of&nbsp;tomatoey goodness&nbsp;and stop when the level of&nbsp;cheese&nbsp;meets your desired taste.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, if your flu is nearing&nbsp;its&nbsp;end stages and you feel up for putting in a little more effort \u00d4\u00c7\u00f4 feel free to&nbsp;rustle&nbsp;up a cheese toastie to have on the side.
