An album which is the antithesis of its title as fans were yearning for new music.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After 2 successful albums, Pale Waves are back with their melodies fuelled with anger and angst, as their 13-track album transports you back to the 2000&#8217;s from the very first second. They leave you feeling nostalgic and reminiscent of artists such as Avril Lavigne and Paramore with a punk aesthetic. Accompanied by raw and emotional sound, Pale Waves have spent time perfecting the true art of writing an alternative rock bop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Met with a heavy bassline and angsty vocals, \u00d4\u00c7\u00ffLies&#8217; opens the album with a Paramore-esque style which will have you dancing along and shouting your feelings away from the get-go. As the album progresses, the tension and emotion increases &#8211; with a few slower ballads in between. Tracks such as \u00d4\u00c7\u00ffThe Hard Way&#8217; and \u00d4\u00c7\u00ffWithout You&#8217; contrast to the gritty atmosphere and vexed attitude of the rest of the album as lead singer, Heather Baron-Gracie, sings about dealing with tragic life experiences and the grieving process she went through at a young age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While Pale Waves have continued to generally stick to the same genre and style as their previous albums, \u00d4\u00c7\u00ffUnwanted&#8217; is definitely more intense. More emotions are thrown around, more memorable melodies are written, and more riffs are entwined as the album gently seeps into the pop-punk genre &#8211; making it perfect to slowly widen their fan base as they continue to fuel the energy of their boisterous crowds.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d4\u00c7\u00ffUnwanted&#8217; is now available on all streaming platforms.
