Situated on Crwys Road in the heart of Cathays, The Pot (or Th\u251c\u00ae Pot, french for teapot) is a small independent caf\u251c\u00ae-bistro that serves delicious homemade food with breakfast, lunch and evening menus. The Pot is open 6 days a week and serves breakfast until 2pm making it the perfect hangover spot for students. To wash down your American pancakes, Full Welsh or breakfast wrap, the eatery also serves a selection of delicious and nutritious breakfast smoothies.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

For lunch, the bistro offers a variety of small and bigger plates as well as sandwiches and specials. The evening menu provides a wide choice of starters, mains and desserts in a cosy candlelit setting. For just \u252c\u00fa20, you can have two courses and a glass of wine on selected days which is a great deal considering the quality of food and the use of locally sourced ingredients.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"the<\/a><\/p>\n

Though it doesn’t look particularly striking from the front, the light and airy coffee house atmosphere works in perfect harmony with its typical French Bistro-inspired menu. You may also feel as though you’re sitting in your friend’s kitchen as you watch your food being cooked in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere though you may also go home smelling like pancakes.<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s only downfall is that the bistro is rather small but\u252c\u00e1very popular so it’s best to book for lunch or dinner. Rated the fifth top restaurant in Cardiff on Trip Advisor, there’s a reason why this little place is so popular. You might just want to give it a go. Bon app\u251c\u00aetit!<\/span><\/p>\n
