Xpress Radio’s Y Tri Gŵr Ffôl wins BBC spinoff
Following success at the 2018 Cardiff Student Media Awards, Y Tri Gŵr Ffôl were rewarded with a short series on one of the biggest and most popular radio channels in Wales, BBC Radio Cymru.
The trio of Rob, Ifan and Aled had been broadcasting live on Xpress Radio from 10pm to midnight every Thursday night since October 2017.
Having won the inaugural award for ‘Best Welsh Language Show’, the reward was the chance to pre-recorded a three show series to be broadcast in the 6-7pm Friday slot on the Welsh language station.
