Cardiff Student Elections 2017

It’s election week here at Cardiff Students’ Union and we’ve grilled every candidate so that you can get a better picture of who’s in the running to represent you next year. Below are podcasts which feature interviews with each candidate running for each post. You’re able to vote every day this week up until 5 PM on Friday the 24th online or by visiting a polling booth in the Students’ Union.

Now that you’ve heard from each candidate, it’s time to vote. Head over to the Students’ Union website or stop at a polling booth anytime up until 5 PM on the 24th of February to cast your vote. Every student at Cardiff University can vote so make your voice heard and ensure that┬áyour┬áStudents’ Union is run the way you want it to be.

Xpress launches Xpress Sports Xtra for Welsh Varsity 2015

Xpress Radio will be providing live coverage of all the sports from this year’s Welsh Varsity.

Tori and Lewis will host the official Varsity Breakfast show as Cardiff students travel down to Swansea, before James & Arainrhod present live from Swansea from 9am. We’ll provide score updates and results from every sport, as well as interviews and reports.

Alongside our results show, which will be available on 87.7FM, our app and our website, we’ll be launching another online stream, at┬áhttp://cardiffstudentmedia.co.uk/xpress/varsity/, where you’ll be able to listen to live commentaries of the Men’s and Ladies football.

We’ll also be bringing you full commentary of the Men’s rugby , live from the Liberty Stadium. Will Cardiff be able to avenge last year’s 19-15 defeat to Swansea?
