From big screen to computer screen, LGBT+ media is everywhere.  Here, Andy Love introduces us to two of his favourites
A very forward-thinking, new web series, written by Jane Espenson and Brad Bell, is the sitcom Husbands.
The story is something you would expect out of a Hollywood film: a controversial tabloid personality and a baseball player, who is recently out of the closet, travel to Las Vegas in a celebration of marriage equality. It also happens that they end up drunk ÔÇô and married to each other. They stay married fearing that a divorce would be devastating for the cause.
The show is very tongue-in-cheek and approaches LGBT+ issues, such as the old ÔÇ£who wears the trousers?ÔÇØ.
There are brilliant guest appearances from Felicia Day (Dr. HorribleÔÇÖs Sing-Along Blog, Geek & Sundry), Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Castle), Alessandra Torresini (Caprica) and even the legendary Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dollhouse, The Avengers). Everyone should check it out!

Hedwig and the Angry Inch
An adaptation of a hit Broadway musical by the same name, Hedwig and the Angry Inch is the story of rock ÔÇÿnÔÇÖ roll singer Hansel Schmidt. Born in communist East Berlin, he dreams of becoming an American sensation.
His dream finally comes true when he falls in love with an American G.I., Luther Robinson. If Hansel can become a fully functional female, the G.I. will marry him and give him a better life in America.
The surgery goes wrong and Hansel ÔÇô now Hedwig ÔÇô is left with an ÔÇ£angry inchÔÇØ. Their relationship falls apart on the day the Berlin Wall comes down and Hedwig is left to pick up the pieces. She continues narrating her story to the few who are willing to listen.
It is a brilliant film, with an amazing soundtrack and a thrilling story. I recommend it to everyone.
