With every trip to Lush┬áyouÔÇÖre transported to a whole new world. You walk through those doors and get instantly greeted with a cloud of scents ranging from bubblegum to cinnamon spice, to coco bean and sherbet lemon. ThereÔÇÖs ingredients youÔÇÖve never heard of, products you didnÔÇÖt know you needed, and a whole heavenly array of ÔÇÿblow your student loanÔÇÖ temptations. But, imagine all these expectations of Lush┬áten-folded. That was the Lush┬áVIP launch night. We were greeted by fresh fruit infused water and smiling faces ready to show us what glories the Christmas launch had to offer. First, we got our hands dirty (or cleansed) making fresh ÔÇÿB├╗che de No├½lÔÇÖ cleanser: zesty fruit, ground almonds, and cranberries with a boozy kick. Upstairs in their spa (the largest Lush┬áSpa in the world!!) staff in pyjamas sat us down and massaged a hot chocolate like concoction into the knots in our arms and hands telling us of the healing powers of each natural ingredient. This pyjama party was sound tracked by our childhood favourites, The Beatles┬áas we tucked into the Alice in Wonderland┬átea party spread: “eat me” vegan cookies and an array of flavoured “drink me” tea. The fairy tale awe followed us through the massage treatment room and back down to the shop floor where we hand made our own ÔÇÿCherry ChristmasÔÇÖ bath bombs topped with a snowflake. And if thatÔÇÖs not Christmassy enough, we were oh-so-tempted by the snowman, elf, Father Christmas and reindeer bath bombs. The new season drops that you just canÔÇÖt miss out on? Their ÔÇÿSnow Fairy Body SprayÔÇÖ, ÔÇÿCinders Shower GelÔÇÖ and┬áÔÇÿSanta Bomb BombÔÇÖ. Whether youÔÇÖre buying for your ho ho homies or your treating yourself to a spa day, thereÔÇÖs just no need to delay! Get yourself into store today.

ThereÔÇÖs nothing I love more than fully investing myself into the Christmas period, with the different scents of the festive season holding a firm position at the top of my list of winter favourites. Whether it be cinnamon, spiced apple or gingerbread IÔÇÖm an ardent lover of all things December. This meant that an invite to the Lush Winter Product Launch left me longing to get my hands on some holiday products. Greeted on arrival with a cup of fruit-infused water, we were notified that the black pots we were drinking from could contribute to LushÔÇÖs black pot recycling scheme. This involves the bringing back of five empty product pots in return for a free face mask ÔÇô a great way to encourage shoppers to become more involved in recycling. The evening consisted of a very hands-on approach: with us all getting our hands dirty to create our own versions of LushÔÇÖs B├╗che de No├½l face cleanser and the Cheery Christmas┬ábath bomb. Being an avid visitor of Lush, my highlight of the night was more of a new discovery than an old favourite. After going up in a lift that felt very much like itÔÇÖd come straight from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, we found ourselves in the Lush Spa. Being naively unaware that Lush Cardiff even had a Spa, I was enticed by the range of treatments available. They are all beautifully put together, one in particular allowing you to pick from eleven different moods to fuel how you would like to feel following your session. Our final talk involved a look at the new make-up line, all of which is package free with an edition of a long-last lip stain packaged in bamboo. My favourite make-up product from the line was the Fantasy eyeliner, a shiny gold take on a typical black eyeliner that would look perfect for the festive season. Arriving home covered in glitter and smelling like Snow Fairy, I felt more than ready to welcome the winter months with open arms. If you too fancy getting into the festive spirit, the new Lush product range is the best way to do so.

Lush Winter Product Launch event was an amazing experience full of many many different smells. Seeing all those colours, Christmas gifts and bath bombs got me into that festive mood and holiday vibe. We started wandering around the shop checking new products, mostly bath bombs (lol) and reached out to the first station which was ÔÇÿMaking your own face cleanserÔÇÖ stop. This product one of my favourite ones and it is called B├╗che de No├½l. This face cleanser contains all the possible fall time ingredients: mandarins, cranberries, ground of almonds and cocoa butter. It was a great experience to actually see how the product is being made and contribute to it as well. Also, I just love this product as it makes the skin super soft and leaves almond-y smell. Our second stop was LushÔÇÖs Spa and it is incredible. No wonder it is a biggest Lush store in the world as it has 5 extra floors. Staff walking in their PJÔÇÖs, the station of biscuits and tea and, finally, enjoying that hand and scalp massage just tempted me to stay there forever. However, next stop of the launch definitely impressed me a lot. Here, we were introduced to the makeup line called Naked(package free) which included long lasting lipstick packaged in bamboo stick, Naked highlight, eyeliners that change colour in the water and probably my favourite – eye jewels, again, package free eye shadows that bring that lovely shiny look. Moreover, I just loved the shower gel from the Naked line called Sleepy┬áwhich is not packaged either, and has that oat and lavender combination of smells. Ultimately, I was really impressed by one of LushÔÇÖs sustainability concepts: Black Pot Recycling Scheme where Lush is encouraging customers to bring back 5 used black containers to the store where the staff will grant customers with a free face mask. This scheme helps Lush to stop producing those black pots and encourages to recycle (melt the plastic) and reuse them as new pots for new products once again.
