The California-based groove metal band return to the UK in support of their new album, Winter Kills, released last summer. Without a doubt, Devildriver have now hit their stride, with six studio albums under their belt, and a dedicated following of fans, they are without doubt one of the biggest metal bands to come out of America in the past decade. With an unrelenting, brutal sound that simply gets faster with age, DevilDriver are likely to absolutely tear the roof off. Fingers crossed that we will not only see new tracks such as ‘Ruthless’ and their cover of Awolnation’s ‘Sail’, but also classics like ‘End of the Line’, ‘Clouds Over California’ and ‘Pray for Villains’. This gig also gives fans a chance to see new permanent bass guitarist Chris Towning take the stage – and if his performance on Winter Kills is anything to by, it should be an epic performance to say the least. Support comes from thrash metal band Sylosis (who were incredible supporting Killswitch Engage in the Great Hall last year) and the up-and-coming deathcore act Bleed From Within.
