Review: Cineworld Cardiff

There are three things you want from a cinema:

  1. Good location
  2. Comfy seating
  3. The newest release schedule

Fortunately for all who reside in Cardiff, Cineworld (www.cineworld.co.uk) has it all.

Cineworld had invited us down to review the place over the weekend, and to see what it had to offer. I was pleasantly surprised with how friendly the staff was, especially for a late showing, the quickness with which the queues moved and even more so, the screening itself.

My fellow cinema goers were brimming with excitement at the prospect of seeing the latest releases, 50 Shades of Grey being a particularly hot topic of conversation and ticket sales. We opted for something a little less risqu├®, but still wholly enjoyable ÔÇô Blackhat.

Cinema ticket prices have been influx in recent years, sky rocketing to prices that seem far out of the student budget for those who wish to attend regularly. However, students around the city should rejoice in CineworldÔÇÖs newest offer. Rich Barnes, Cineworld General Manager, had this to say:

┬áÔÇ£WeÔÇÖre excited to be introducing this new offer, allowing the students of Cardiff to enjoy the hottest, blockbuster movies on the big screen for just ┬ú4 – at any time. We are a 15 screen cinema showing the latest in Hollywood releases, including the new intense cyber-crime thriller, Blackhat ÔÇô and weÔÇÖre looking forward to welcoming and sharing our passion for film with students in the local area.ÔÇØ

Having such an unbelievable offer on, not to mention the wide variety of snacks available (plus a bar for those who like to make their cinema trips a real night out), we are happy that Cineworld is tailoring an offer to its student cliental. With its many screens on its three floors showcasing the best of films out there, Cineworld has everything to satisfy your needs and give a great cinema experience.
