The infamous MTV Valleys hangout spot is the place to be on a Monday; if you can stand the smell and hack the mountain of stairs to reach each room and newly redeveloped, rooftop smoking area get yourself there.
DRESSCODE: Monday nights are renowned for being very casual so girls you will be pleased to know you can dance the night away until 4am in your flats, and match them with some jeans and a cute top. As for guys, a T-shirt, jeans and trainers are totally acceptable!

Tuesday is Cardiff University’s student night at Revolution bar, and is home to cheap drink deals and more cocktails than you can think of, accompanied by a mix of party tunes; classics; dance; electro and RnB, making it a popular night out for all.
DRESSCODE: As it’s a student night, smart casual is the dress criterion, meaning turning up in sports trainers, hoods or baseball caps could get you refused entry. Girls get your glad rags on and work heels and a dress, whilst guys will mostly be found in relaxed shirts and smart shoes.

DRESSCODE: Some version of ridiculous fancy dress, or casual clothes, usually matched with trainers. Pretty much anything goes!

DRESSCODE: Smart and casual both suit this bar so follow the trend your group of friends decide on for the night. Flats can work, however girls you may decide on heels for less contact with the sticky floor and avoid your show-stopping dance moves from becoming inhibited!

DRESSCODE: Another dressy club to visit over the weekend, perfect for a celebratory night, so dress to kill. Girls can go all out with a fancy stylish dress and heels – although beware of the numerous staircases throughout the venue! And guys should again stick with a smart shirt, trousers and smart shoes.
