Stealing Sheep – Rearrange

7/10

It all begins with a delightfully unusual chord sequence and winding, chromatic vocal melodies ÔÇô highly characteristic of the rest of Stealing SheepÔÇÖs debut.┬á The song mutates from the kooky verse to a highly memorable chorus, adorned with warm synths and extremely well-blended vocal harmonies. However, at just over 3 minutes, the song isnÔÇÖt really long enough to let each of the sections of the song fully develop and the final chorus is left feeling a little cut short.┬áWhile I would argue that Rearrange is not the strongest song on the album, it does hint at their brilliance and acts as an intriguing musical morsel for first time listeners who would be foolish not to investigate further.
