What are you doing tomorrow night? Another ropey party on Miskin St? We feel vile just thinking about it. Cringe no more, for Xpresstival is here to save your drunken soul. Save crying to your Record Store Day stash for Sunday’s hangover.
Xpress is Quench’s more experienced oldersister, best mate & faithful lover. This year it is celebrating it’s 20th Anniversary and doing so in brilliant fashion. Staying true to the stations love of local music, tomorrow Clwb Ifor Bach will be hosting wildly talented upcoming acts including Radio 1 & local favourite’s Tibet and Portsmouth’s renowned psychedelic Kassassin Street. Other artists on the bill include Yonaka, XY&O, Hipicat, Himalayas, Kier and Breichiau Hir.
Add to that a few inspirational music BNOCs such as Horizons founder Bethan Elfyn and you have yourself a day full of that ‘thing’ about Cardiff music that brought you all here.
These bands are pre-swell, and bloody amazing. If you haven’t heard of them now, you will have in 6 months and you’ll be gutted you didn’t see them all at once for the measly price of £8.
