It’s that time of year again! On Thursday 23rd November, students decided on the future of Cardiff Students’ Union for the next year.
Xpress Xtra brought you LIVE coverage from the Great Hall – proceedings began at 5.30pm.
This year there were 5 tabled motions:
- Muslim Students to be better represented by the StudentsÔÇÖ Union – PASSED
- Make Cardiff University StudentsÔÇÖ Union a Living Wage Employer – FAILED
- Students consulted at every level: A seat on UEB – PASSED
- Real financial support for postgraduates in need – PASSED
- Changes to VP Societies and VP Welfare – PASSED [with amendment]
