Beauty and the Beast Hits New Theatre, Cardiff with a Bang!

Are you ready for this yearÔÇÖs panto? Oh no youÔÇÖre not? Oh yes you are! An all-time favourite Disney classic, Beauty and the Beast, featuring some of our most-loved famous faces comes to the New Theatre, Cardiff, for the holiday season. Packed full of laughter and music, with happiness and joy aplenty, itÔÇÖs a brilliant way to get into the Christmas spirit! Who doesnÔÇÖt love a good pantomime?

Shown at the New Theatre, in Cardiff City Centre, starring Lisa Riley, British television presenter and Emmerdale actress and Gareth Thomas, one of the most iconic figures in world rugby. Some New TheatreÔÇÖs legends are also back, with panto favourites Ben Richards, Mike Doyle, Danny Bayne and Stephanie Webber also starring, this is something you definitely do not want to miss!

A slight twist on the popular Disney classic, this magical tale follows Belle and her friends as they transport to a cursed castle and are held captive by a hideous beast. Will Belle see beyond the monster and fall in love with him before the petals fall from the enchanted rose? Watch and find out!

Who said that pantomimes are just for kids? Packed with the necessary pantomime ingredients: lots of laughter, dazzling costumes, fun, frivolity, and most of all, quality entertainment for the whole family. Dancing, singing and audience participation galore, get ready to greet Mike Doyle with an ÔÇ£AllriiighhttttÔÇØ and laugh so much your cheeks ache! Witness Gareth Thomas and his uncontrollable laughter as he struggles to get his words out following comical scenes involving chocolate bars and pots and pans (you have to be there to see it). YouÔÇÖll probably find yourself laughing more than the kids! With sequins and sparkles, fire and smoke, itÔÇÖs a chance to see Gareth ThomasÔÇÖ six-pack, Lisa RileyÔÇÖs amazing dance moves and Mike DoyleÔÇÖs talking bosoms!

Tuck into some delicious ice cream as you sing along to some of your favourite songs. With a familiar blend of pop songs and tracks from 2017 hit The Greatest Showman, the castsÔÇÖ beautiful singing guarantees goose-bumps. Whether itÔÇÖs Baby Shark (the viral hit), Bang Bang by Jessie J, or Clean BanditÔÇÖs Symphony, get ready for a sing-a-long!

A fast-paced, well-performed, spell-binding, seasonal extravaganza, taking pantomimes to a new level of greatness! The enthusiasm is infectious. Without doubt, it is definitely the best panto I have ever seen!

The New Theatre possesses the perfect atmosphere, and with afternoon and evening shows, itÔÇÖs a must-see. Family deals and discounts for children and over 60s are available. Is it really Christmas if you havenÔÇÖt been to see a panto? Or what about some fun to brighten up the New Year? Beauty and the Beast is showing until Sunday 13 January 2019, so what are you waiting for?┬áWatch out for the Kraken!
