Robert Knepper has been cast in Arrow and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay. ItÔÇÖs a good time to be Robert Knepper.
It has been a great time for Robert Knepper. The former Prison Break bad guy has been cast in both Arrow and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay. Knepper, who you may remember as T-Bag in Prison Break and Samuel Sullivan in the final season of Heroes, is set to play Antonius, minister to Donald SutherlandÔÇÖs President Snow in Mockingjay parts one and two. The films are being shot back-to-back in Atlanta and are set to be released in 2014 and 2015, respectively. Lionsgate made the announcement via The Hunger Games Twitter account:
It’s official! Please welcome ÔǬ@Robert_Knepper as Antonius to the cast of ÔǬ@TheHungerGames: Mockingjay Parts 1&2
In addition to joining the cast of Mockingjay, Knepper will be guest starring on the CWÔÇÖs Arrow as DC villain William Tockman aka ÔÇ£Clock KingÔÇØ. Tockman will make his appearance in episode 14, which will coincide with the return of Alex Kingston as Dinah Lance.
William Tockman (aka Clock King)
William Tockman spends his early years taking care of his invalid sister. One day he finds out from a doctor’s visit that he himself only has six months to live. Despairing for his sister’s future, he watches the timing of a local bank’s vault in order to rob it, hoping the money would provide for his sister after he was gone. His caper would have gone successfully, had he not tripped a silent alarm and been caught by Green Arrow.
While he is incarcerated, his sister dies alone. In further hideous irony, Tockman discovers that he really is not terminally ill; his doctor had accidentally switched his papers with those of another patient. Infuriated, he escapes, later futilely attempting revenge on Green Arrow.
