The Annual General Meeting takes place tomorrow (22nd November) and we will be streaming the whole event LIVE from Xpress Xtra with added commentary.

If you are not familiar with the AGM, it is a large forum where students can put forward motions concerning Cardiff Students’ Union. The motions are debated, discussed and then finally either accepted or rejected.

This year there are five motions that have been put forward:

MOTION 1: Fight for funds: continue to finance initiatives that tackle sexual assault and violence on students

MOTION 2: Sweatshop free campaign

MOTION 3: Full-time Welsh Language Officer

MOTION 4: Make Cardiff UniversityÔÇÖs Student Union a living wage employer

MOTION 5: Protecting our Palestinian and Jewish students
