With 25 years under his belt and worldwide renown as rock royalty, blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa will be setting the standard for CardiffÔÇÖs live circuit in September.

Last year he worked with Aerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford on his thirteenth roots album Driving Towards The Daylight, and has performed live with the likes of blues god Eric Clapton at the Royal Albert. Not bad. But get this: while most twelve year olds are still making ears bleed with Violin Grade 2, this little fella was opening for B.B. King. Casual.

Joe Bonamassa is best served with an audience, an incontestable truth after this yearÔÇÖs success of his first all-acoustic live show in Vienna. To celebrate, he kicks off the UK leg of his international tour in our beloved ÔÇÿDiff. Both an electric and acoustic maverick, expect the whole shebang at his Motorpoint Arena opening.
