This yearÔÇÖs Summer Ball promises to eclipse previous offerings. Taking place on Friday the 13th June, the Ball is being held at CardiffÔÇÖs Motorpoint Arena for the first time.
The chart-topping Labrinth will be performing songs including ÔÇ£Let the Sun ShineÔÇØ and ÔÇ£EarthquakeÔÇØ. He will be joined by Gorgon City who will be playing their recent hit ÔÇ£Ready for Your LoveÔÇØ and who have previously played at Solus. They will be joined by Sigma who will perform the third biggest-selling single of the year, ÔÇ£Nobody To LoveÔÇØ alongside their reworking of Kanye WestÔÇÖs controversial ÔÇ£Bound 2ÔÇØ.
They are supported by the Manic Street Preachers esque Starling Radicals, who recently won the Live Music SocietyÔÇÖs Battle of the Bands, held at Clwb Ifor Bach. The Summer Ball will also feature acts including belly dancers, hip-hop artists and A-cappella singers.
The circus themed event will have wandering performers and fairground rides which will add to the carnival atmosphere. Beginning at 9pm and continuing into the early hours, tickets are priced at just £35 and are available online and from the box office.
